What is F.A.C.E.? What Does It Do?
Facial Acupuncture for Charm and Elegance, or F.A.C.E. in short, originated in Korea, one of the most popular places for aesthetic medicine. The founder of F.A.C.E. is the Korean professor Dr. Song Jhen Han, who used TCM to provide a non-invasive way to remodel facial features and shape without using injections or medications. The technique is deeply rooted in using hair-like needles to target fascia, muscles, and ligaments to improve circulation and lift facial lines through acupuncture. It not only improves circulation, but also stimulates collagen, repairs facial muscles, lifts facial lines, softens fine lines, and improves the overall complexion. For those with uneven or unbalanced facial muscles, F.A.C.E. is one way to restore muscle balance!

F.A.C.E. is Suitable For:
  • Women in preparation for pregnancy want to enhance aesthetics without the use of Western medicine
  • Facial nerve palsy
  • Sagging jowls
  • Asymmetrical face
  • Overactive masseter muscles
  • Tight scalp
  • Stress and migraines
  • Poor sleep quality
  • Uneven eyes
  • Reduce fine lines: nasolabial folds, crow’s feet, etc.
  • Sagging skin
  • Tight muscles: to relax facial muscles

F.A.C.E. Treatment Frequency
Normal condition: It is recommended to receive it once a week for 6 weeks. The effects can usually last for 1 year. If you continue this therapy, the effects may last longer.
Weak condition: It is recommended to receive this treatment with Chinese herb medicine together, the effects will be more obvious and last longer.
Kindly reminder:
Please discuss this with your doctor before receiving F.A.C.E.

F.A.C.E. Precautions:
F.A.C.E. is a procedure that uses extremely fine needles to stimulate the subcutaneous tissue, relax muscles, and lift facial contours. It has no recovery period and requires a short treatment time, making it suitable for both men and women.

The treatment will be customized by a TCM practitioner based on an individual's needs, lifestyle habits, and age. Note that undergoing this treatment may accelerate blood circulation, causing some redness and heat on the face for several hours, which is normal. Subsequently, you might experience facial tightness and soreness when making facial expressions for a few days, which is also normal. If you have any concerns, it is recommended to consult your TCM practitioner.

Western Medicine V.S. Traditional Chinese Medicine
Korea has been using facial acupuncture for medical cosmetology for more than a decade. The benefits of Western medicine and Traditional Chinese medicine are quite different.
The benefits of Western medicine are obvious and straightforward, but there is a longer recovery period. The risks are also different.
The benefits of Traditional Chinese medicine are not as obvious and straightforward, and it has a shorter recovery period. You may also need to receive the treatment regularly for a longer period to be able to see long-lasting results. There may also be bruises after treatment.
