Taiwan became the first country in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage in 2019, setting a precedent for gender equality around the world. Ever since the bill was passed, there have been over 25,000 marriage registrations by the end of 2023, and as naturally as that may come, more and more diverse families are expressing their desire to raise children as well.
NUWA Healthcare offers LGBTQIA+ friendly services and environments, believing that everyone has the right to choose and to protect their rights to choose. Although regulations still prohibit same-sex couples from receiving artificial reproductive treatments, NUWA provides egg and sperm cryopreservation treatment, also known as "egg freezing" and "sperm freezing," so that when related regulations are passed in the future, everyone is still able to retain their rights to make future reproductive choices.
