According to Taiwan’s Articles 10th and 19th of the Artificial Reproduction Law, “egg donation and egg freezing cannot be carried out simultaneously in the same course of treatment,” but the good news is that “it can be carried out separately in different courses of treatment.”
For Example:
❌ Egg donation + egg freezing in June
✅ Egg donation in June, egg freezing in July
✅ Egg freezing in June, egg donation in July
I want to donate eggs to help families in need, but I also want to freeze my eggs to preserve my fertility in the future. What can I do?

How long will it take if I want to donate and freeze eggs?
The course of treatment itself (egg freezing and egg donation) will take a total of 2 months (2 menstrual cycles). The overall process including pre-consultation, examination, discussion, matching, etc. will take around 3 to 4 months or more.
Should I freeze or donate eggs first? Which would be better to do first?
At NUWA Fertility Center, an initial AMH test will be recommended. After the doctor assesses the state of your “ovarian reserve,” specific advice and recommendations will be provided to you depending on the situation.
