1. Does NUWA Fertility Center have the qualifications to handle medical visas or Taiwan Entry Permits?
A: NUWA Fertility Center is an institution recognized by the International Medical Management Group of the Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare, and has the qualifications to apply for overseas patients to come to Taiwan for medical treatments.

2. Do I need to apply for a medical visa to seek medical treatment in Taiwan?
A: Foreigners do not need to apply for a medical visa to seek medical treatments in Taiwan, except for residents in specific regions like China, Hong Kong, or Macau. For detailed information, please refer to the Global Information Network of the Bureau of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan.

3. How do residents from Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau apply for a medical visa to come to Taiwan?
A: Please contact NUWA’s International Medical Department first, and our personnel will assist you in applying for medical visas after confirming the needs according to the information you provide.

4. How much is the general consultation fee for foreigners?
A: The registration fee plus the consultation fee starts from NT$600. Please remember that any exams, treatment, procedures, medications, etc. will be charged separately.

5. What are the payment methods for foreign nationals?
A: Credit cards (VISA, Master, JCB, AE, and UnionPay), and cash payments are accepted.
 
6. How much does an international patient need to prepare for IVF treatment?
A: The actual medical expenses will vary according to individual medication dosage or course of treatment. Please contact NUWA Fertility Center first.

7. How much does an international patient need to prepare for an egg-freezing treatment?
A: The actual medical expenses will vary according to individual medication dosage or course of treatment. Please contact NUWA Fertility Center first.
 
8. How much cash can I bring into Taiwan?
A: By the regulations of the Customs Administration of the Ministry of Finance of Taiwan, NT$100,000, RMB 20,000, or other foreign currencies with a total value of USD $10,000 (the limits of these three currencies are calculated independently) is the maximum amount that may be brought into Taiwan without needing to be declared to customs.

9. How long do I need to stay in Taiwan? How many times do I need to visit Taiwan for IVF treatment
A: Your treatment needs to be customized according to your condition and needs, and is recommended that you consult with your doctor first. You can choose to come to Taiwan two or three times, but please make sure to discuss your treatment with your doctor first.
